prototype things

I MADE A BAG:

It is completely machine sewn by me, it was so satisfying to finish! I wont be selling this particular one because i’m not happy with the inner lining which exposes the hem on the inside so it will fray really easily, something i want to change before they are sellable.

The chair comes from my initial patch for the 1st of February, i’ve got loads of little versions of it and have no idea what to do with them, framed originals perhaps?

This is (will be) a cushion cover, based on another patch from Feb. Im still debating whether white is a good colour for a cushion….. I also want to do more london street signs so i might go on a little trip into central with my camera soon…

badge & bag

honestly, havent been so busy with the uni project this weekend, i have been trying out the new badgemaker and made my stitchcity freebie badges (free with every sale!)

also a few other designs, the photos need work, dont really know how to sell these, theyre probably too cheap to sell individually….

And i managed to finish a whole bag, not bad for a days work, the design is one from with earlier in the year but ive wanted to stitch up a tote for ages:

new bag in progress

Not sure what colour bag yet…

Am all finished with work experience now. I learned a lot and got to make books and use spray paint and go to Brighton almost everyday, it was awesome fun!

But now I have time to do ridiculous cross stitch bits that take days to finish.

And next week I am going to Hong Kong! So my next blog post will probably be full of holiday snaps for you to enjoy!

new.

not project related i know, just a bit of shameless self promotion…

I went through a bit of a cross stitch phase last year, im sure it will return but right now im feeling to impatient to get into it. This bag was part of the “Print is Dead” project from last term, now in the shop:

I’m going back to the DIFF on Monday, so lots of photos and hopefully some actual project ideas will appear on here soon….
