Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great December, mine was super busy with lots of markets, it was hectic but so nice to get out and meet people and display my work after being holed up in the studio for so long!

Now that Xmas is over I can show off these custom pieces. I had some really nice presents to make for people this year – let’s hope all the recipients were happy!

Firstly this Welsh Christmas decoration – I had sold out of them already!

This map of London shows St Pauls and the Millenium footbridge across the Thames –

And I really enjoyed making this lovely pair of West London map cushions for another customer!

Just a quick PS – It’s January which means I have to have a sale in my shop (it’s the law!!) so if you had your eye on anything now is the time to buy! Use the code JANSTITCHSALE for 20% off 🙂

Visit Stitch City

So! I’m planning on doing plenty of markets this Christmas, heres the Stitch City schedule for the coming weeks!

Sunday November 23rd – Rhiwbina’s Handmade Market.

This fair was so much fun last year, a great selection of makers and food stalls – tea, cake and mulled wine, and I came away with some great stuff. This years even promises to be even better!

Saturday 29th November – Cardiff Christmas Bazaar at the Abacus.

I’m really looking forward to spending the day at the Abacus and to taking part in this great event for charity. Along with some great stalls there will be live music, craft workshops and food and drink!

Sat/Sun 6th & 7th December – GIFT at Penarth Pier Pavillion

Penarth Pavillion are hosting this fantastic fair, featuring plenty of super talented makers in the beautiful surroundings of the pavillion gallery. After doing your Christmas shopping you can head to the cafe for tea or take a walk on the beach. Sounds nice!

STILL we dont have internet at our flat, so i am having to drag my laptop into uni each day to work/go on etsy/buy stuff…

Some new things up in the shop!  A few new notebooks made from recycled paper and road maps:

And new tote bag with cross stitch map of the southbank:

These photos were taken by my matey/graphic design type Lydia, who let us sneak into her unis photography studio for the day, it was fun times!
